What does it feel like?

A topical anesthetic is applied to ensure your comfort, so you can expect to feel a little pressure and vibration during your procedure. The following two days, you may feel a little sore.

Can natural areolas be tattooed?

Yes. You’re welcome to change the size, shape, and color to your preference.

How long do nipple tattoos last?

Areola tattooing and scar camouflaging are permanent procedures. It generally takes two treatments to complete the process.

How long is the procedure?

Typically, 2 hours.

Are nipple tattoos covered by insurance?

Generally, yes, if related to a medically necessary breast surgery.

How soon am I able to shower?

You may shower the day after your procedure. However, for the first week, you will not be able to soak in a bathtub, swim, or sauna.

When can I work out?

The following day.
